Wayne and Elizabeth have been involved with the horse industry for over 40 years, as youths Wayne participated in Jr. Rodeo, various events and Elizabeth was involved in trail riding. As adults they both participate in team sorting, cutting events, trail riding, pack trips and Elizabeth is currently involved in barrel racing and putting on barrel races. We both have trained horses and still train our own. Elizabeth gave western riding lessons for four years. Wayne has been shoeing horses for over 35 years and received his certification through Western School of Horseshoeing. Elizabeth has been working with leather for 17 years now, she was taught by Wayne who learned under his aunt and Bill's Saddle Shop in Laveen, AZ. We continue to enjoy the western lifestyle in Tonopah, AZ with our mule, 2 horses and cattle we raise.
The Saddlery opened in 2005 in Tonopah, AZ, which Elizabeth runs full time. All leather work is handcrafted by Elizabeth, there is no outsourcing done here. The Farrier Service is operated by Wayne part time until 2000 when he got certified through Western School of Horseshoeing and established a full time business, he has been shoeing now for over 35. Our Arena is open to the public, we hold barrel races during the fall, winter and spring months 2-3 times a week.
